Entry #1: Write a paragraph about yourself
Hello everyone, let me introduce myself, Sergio Fonseca. I am an English student at the UIA, also I am a chemistry graduate, I studied it many years ago. Now I want to combine both studies and become a scientific translator. I currently work in regulatory affairs and because of my job I have contact with the English language and I have to do several translations which is very useful for me to practice. In my personal life, I love to travel, to discover new places, traditions, food and culture. I know that perfecting my English will help me during my travels. I once heard a phrase that struck me: "one language, one life" and I think it is totally true, since learning English is not just about words, it is actually about immersing yourself in different cultures and ways of seeing the world.
